CIMSTAR S2 is a semi-synthetic metalworking fluid.
APPLICATION: CIMSTAR S2 is a low cost, general purpose light to moderate duty, machining and grinding fluid, which can be used a wide variety of metals. Good on ferrous metals and most aluminum alloys and yellow metals. It should not be used on magnesium alloys.
For use in light duty machining and grinding applications, such as milling, drilling, turning and surface grinding.
EXCEPTIONALLY MILD: A good choice for individual machine applications where mixes tend to become more concentrated than recommended.
CLEANLINESS: The oily residue keeps machine tools and work-piece materials clean.
MICROBIAL CONTROL: CIMSTAR S2 has good rancidity control if product concentration is properly controlled.
ECONOMICAL: CIMSTAR S2 is a low cost semi-synthetic that offers good economy if properly maintained.
RESIDUE: Product residues are light, soft and non-tacky.
